STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Franciscan friar is facing federal charges for allegedly padlocking the doors to a Planned Parenthood building on Long Island.Christopher Moscinski, 52, is accused of fastening locks to the gate of a Planned Parenthood in Hempstead on July 7 before it opened, according to a press release. Prosecutors detailed that Moscinski used padlocks and bicycle locks — pouring glue into some of them and rendering the entrance impassable.Moscinski left after allegedly locking the doors, and later returned in a gray religious robe.
