HUDSON VALLEY, NY — After the debacle of last year, the New York State Independent Redistricting Commission is holding more public hearings to receive feedback on its court-ordered plan for the state's Assembly districts, and one will take place Monday in White Plains.The newest State Assembly maps were released in December by New York's Independent Redistricting Commission. The first set of redistricting maps, for Congress, State Senate and State Assembly, were required after the 2020 Census. They were drawn by Democratic state lawmakers when the members of the state's Redistricting Commission were unable to agree.
